This policy explains how VPNBF (referred to below as "the Service") handles user-related data when providing cross-border network acceleration services, and what requests users can make about that data. It covers the marketing pages on vpnbf.com, the user panel, and the apps for each platform.
What Data We Collect and Why We Use It
The Service collects only the data needed to provide the service, complete transactions, and troubleshoot problems; it does not collect information unrelated to the service.
- Account data: username and password. Registration does not require an email address — a username and password are all you need. Passwords are stored as irreversible hashes; the system never keeps plaintext passwords.
- Order and payment status: plan name, amount, order number, payment method, and payment result, used to activate service, process renewals and refunds, and reconcile accounts.
- Support tickets: the content of tickets you submit and the replies in the thread, used to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Visit statistics: page views, referring links, device and browser type, and the country or region derived from IP, used to understand page performance and plan route capacity.
Our No-Logs Stance and Connection Log Retention
- The Service does not record which websites users visit and does not keep connection logs, including the time, duration, source, and destination of each connection.
- User traffic is encrypted in transit; the servers do not inspect traffic contents or use them for any other purpose.
- Operations and analytics retain only aggregated results, such as connection and error counts per route, with no access records that can be traced back to an individual.
- Retention: connection logs are not kept; account and order data follow the periods set out in "Data Retention and Deletion" below.
- When you submit a ticket with diagnostic information, that information is used only for that ticket and is deleted together with the ticket data once the issue is resolved.
Cookies and Local Storage
The site and user panel use first-party cookies and browser local storage, limited to the following purposes:
- Language and region preferences, so your next visit opens directly in the matching language version.
- Login session credentials, used to keep you signed in to the user panel.
- Interface settings, such as the route you last selected and display preferences.
This site does not use third-party advertising cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not share browsing data with advertising platforms. Clearing browser data also clears your login status, so you will need to sign in again; with cookies disabled, the marketing pages still work, but sign-in and subscription features in the user panel do not.
Payments and Third-Party Processing
- Payments are handled by third-party channels and support Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT.
- The Service never handles payment credentials such as card numbers; the payment channel returns only the order number, amount, and payment result, which we use to confirm activation.
- Payment channels are responsible for the data they process themselves; see each channel's privacy policy for details.
- Order status and refund progress are shown in your order history in the user panel. See the Terms of Service for our refund commitment.
Data Retention and Deletion
- Account data: retained while the account is active; deleted from production systems within 30 days of account closure.
- Order and payment records: retained longer than account data for reconciliation, refunds, and dispute handling, and deleted once those processes are complete.
- Visit statistics: retained in aggregate form; region information derived from IP is not kept long term.
- Deletion or closure requests: submit them through the ticket form in the user panel; once account ownership is verified, we handle them within the periods above.
the account name to be handled and the type of request (data deletion or account closure). Once account ownership is verified, we act within the periods above and reply with the result in the same ticket.
How This Policy Is Updated
- When the policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page is revised as well.
- For material changes affecting the scope of data collected or user rights, we post an advance notice on the site.
- Continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated policy; if you do not agree, you can stop using the Service and request account closure.
